Kudos Program Terms

The Kudos Program is a points-based rewards system available to all registered users on Kudosey. Both buyers and sellers earn points on eligible transactions, which can be spent in the Point Shop. The shop has two categories: cosmetics (available to all users) and the Kudos coupon system (available to buyers only). Kudos coupons provide $5.00 off on listings where the seller has opted into the program.

Participation in the Kudos Program — whether as a buyer or seller earning points, spending points on cosmetics, using Kudos coupons, or opting listings into the coupon system — is subject to these terms. Kudosey reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Kudos Program at any time in accordance with Section 10.

The Kudos Program is available to all registered users on Kudosey. Both buyers and sellers earn points on eligible transactions and may spend points on cosmetic items in the Point Shop. The Kudos coupon system — including purchasing Kudos and redeeming coupons — is available to buyers only. Sellers may opt their listings into the coupon system to allow buyers to apply coupons at checkout, but may not use coupons themselves. Participation requires an account in good standing — accounts that are suspended, under review, or subject to holds are not eligible to earn or spend points until the issue is resolved.

Kudosey reserves the right to exclude any account from the Kudos Program at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms or the general Terms of Service.

Points are earned on eligible transactions based on the listing price, rounded down, at the following rates:

Points are shared across both the cosmetics shop and the Kudos coupon system — there is one unified balance. Points have no monetary value and do not constitute property. See Section 7 for full details.

The Kudos coupon system is available to buyers only. Sellers may spend points on cosmetics but may not purchase or redeem coupons. Buyers can exchange points for Kudos in the Kudos Shop at a rate of 20 points per Kudos Coupon. The following limits apply:

Kudos purchases are final. Once points have been deducted and Kudos credited to your account, the transaction cannot be reversed. Kudosey reserves the right to adjust conversion rates and monthly caps with reasonable notice under Section 10.

Kudos can be exchanged for $5.00 off coupons at a rate of 1 Kudos per coupon. The following terms apply to coupons:

Sellers may opt individual listings — or all active listings — into the Kudos Program via their seller settings. Opting in means buyers can apply a $5.00 coupon to your listing at checkout. The discount is absorbed entirely by the seller — Kudosey does not subsidize or compensate sellers for the discounted amount.

Points, Kudos, and unused coupons are subject to forfeiture in the following circumstances:

Kudosey monitors the Kudos Program for patterns of abuse. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in forfeiture of all program balances and may result in account termination:

Kudosey reserves the right to share transaction and account information with payment processors, card networks, and law enforcement in connection with fraudulent abuse of the Kudos Program.

Kudosey reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Kudos Program at any time, including changes to:

We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes via email and in-platform announcements. Continued participation in the Kudos Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If the program is discontinued entirely, Kudosey will provide at least 30 days' notice where reasonably practicable to allow you to redeem any outstanding Kudos.
