Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Kudosey uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, process payments securely, remember your preferences, and — only with your permission — understand how people use the marketplace so we can improve it.
2. Cookies we use
We group cookies into two categories based on their purpose.

3. Essential cookies
These cookies are required for the marketplace to function properly. You cannot disable them without breaking core features like login, cart, and checkout.
Kudosey uses Stripe to handle all payments. Stripe sets __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid cookies that are required for fraud detection and secure payment processing. These cookies are essential and cannot be disabled — without them checkout will not work.
We also use Supabase for authentication and real-time features.

4. Analytics & Marketing cookies
By default, these cookies are turned off. We only enable them if you give us permission via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page.
Why we ask for consent:
- Analytics help us understand which features are most used and where we can improve
- Marketing cookies (if enabled) help us show relevant platform announcements
Kudosey does not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not allow advertisers to target you by name through our platform.
💡 To opt out of Google Analytics entirely, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Third-party services
Some features on Kudosey involve third-party services that may set their own cookies:

6. Managing your preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the Manage preferences button in the banner at the bottom of this page. You can also disable or delete cookies through your browser settings — note that disabling essential cookies will prevent checkout and login from working correctly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Kudosey evolves. When we make significant changes we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-app notice.
